On Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 the New Hampshire Space Grant Consortium and Complex Systems Research Center hosted their ninth annual GIS Day Conference and College Fair at the Institute for the Study of Earth Oceans and Space at the University of New Hampshire. This outreach event brought hundreds of New England regional high school junior and senior level students together with hundreds of Geo-Spatial Science professionals, university level educators and the general public to participate in a professional Geo-Spatial Science conference to promote networking, career, and educational opportunities within the field. Total attendance for the day exceeded over six hundred participants.

All guests were hosted to many attractions and events including the GIS Day 2007 featured attraction, the "Travel, Tourism, and Recreation Cartographic Exhibition featuring beautiful United States National Park Service maps, UNESCO World Heritiage Site satellite images, hand crafted SCUBA diving, surfing, and ski area trail maps, world wine region maps, bicycle, train, and airline route maps, state attraction, road and city maps, vacation, travel guide and recreation maps. and historic travel maps.

In addition to this Travel, Tourism, and Recreation Cartographic Exhibition, all guests were also hosted to a Geo-Spatial Science college fair, a professional Geo-Science vendor hall, professional poster sessions, and hands on, state-of-the-art GIS and Remote Sensing laboratory tours.
